Who We Are-
CMF Firefuels is a family-run firewood and biomass supplier based on our farm in the centre of the Ribble Valley, Lanashire.
We operate three high-capacity processing lines, where timber is cut and split using Posch processors. Our dedicated biomass drying facilities ensure all logs are dried to below 20% moisture content, giving customers a reliable, consistent, Ready to Burn product.
Our facilities can produce up to 300m³ of dried logs per week, and we maintain a rolling stock of approximately 1,000m³ loose volume at any time.
Secure Timber Supply-
Most of our 2026 raw timber supply is already on-site, giving us strong security of stock and the ability to support long-term customer demand.
Our timber is sourced from sustainably managed forests, as close to our farm processing plant as possible. We carefully select woods that are suitable for burning, including hardwoods such as ash, birch, beech, sycamore and oak, alongside softwoods including larch, fir, spruce and pine.
Through our wider biofuels business, long-standing relationships with Scottish timber merchants, and owner Dylan's background in British land management, we have been purchasing hundreds of tonnes of timber annually for the past 4 years. This enables us to offer a dependable and consistent long-term supply.
Quality Assurance-
All logs are cleaned after the drying process using a Posch XL disc cleaner, producing a clean, high-quality finished product.
